WorldLink to Represent Fox Cable Network’s Extreme Sports Cable Network For All Direct Response and Infomercial Activities

LOS ANGELES, CA, February 2, 2004 – WorldLink, one of the country’s top ten women-owned businesses and fastest growing media sales firms, has entered into an exclusive agreement with Fox Cable Networks’ extreme sports channel FUEL, for whom WorldLink will oversee all direct response and infomercial sales activities. The announcement was jointly made today by Toni Erickson Knight, founder and CEO of WorldLink, and David Sternberg, General Manager, FUEL.

Launched in July of last year, FUEL is dedicated to competitive and non-competitive action in skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, wakeboarding, motocross and BMX, entertainment and music of these sports, targeting the “GenY” demographic - a group born between 1977 and 1997 representing 77.6 million potential viewers. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, it is estimated that by the year 2010 “Gen Y” will represent 41% of the country’s population. FUEL’s programming reflects the sports and accompanying lifestyle of this burgeoning demographic through original series like “Firsthand” which take an in-depth look at the lives of their favorite athletes and co-productions such as “Project Detention” and “The Standard Snowboard Show.”
